I Want To Be Just Like Him
I Want To Be Just Like Him
Rapsodie Adams
When my girls were little, every chance they had, they would dress in my clothes and heals. They were so cute. They would have me babysit their dolls; this included changing diapers, feeding them, all the while they would call out instructions. When to put them down for a nap, don’t forget to read them a story. Oh, how it amazed me as I watched them grow into a mini me. And yes, it made me proud to think they wanted to be like me.
I believe when our heavenly Father looks down on us, there are also times He sees the cute, in us. Just like my little ones, who when growing up, believed they were all grown up. I believe there are times that we think we are all grown up, but in reality we are still little children; who have put on our Fathers clothes. Oh, they are a little big and they are a little long, but when our Father looks down on us, I believe His heart fills with pride; just to see that we want to look just like Him.
A Prayer
Dear Father, my children are all grown up now. And some day very soon when Jesus comes for me and I meet Him in the air, see Him as He is, with a twinkling of an eye, I will be all grown up. Jesus, it is all so real that very soon, you are coming. Holy Spirit, please make me ready for His soon return.
Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
