Soldiers of the Way

Soldiers of the Way

Multifaceted service with the intent to share Jesus!

 Vision

Be the church…Sharing Jesus, while serving others!

Motto!

Servants of All being Salt & Light!

PURPOSE:

To demonstrate God’s love toward mankind as Jesus did. Winning souls as we serve!

2 Timothy 2:1-4 – Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Matthew 5:13-16 – “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

1 Corinthians 9:19 – For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

 Luke12:29-37 – Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching.  Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.”

MISSION STATEMENT:

Soldiers of the Way – Serve everyone as if they are Jesus!

Matthew 25:34-40

34: Then the King will say to those on His right hand, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;

36: I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”

37: “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, “Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

38: When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?

39: Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?”

40: And the King will answer and say to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

What is it to love the lovable…be like Jesus and love the UN-lovable!

Matthew 5:46 –

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

The Full Armor of God

Everyday!

Ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIS might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
