Our Time is Short

August 7th 2017

Rapsodie Adams

From the very beginning, our ministry has always been to the church (body of Christ). Through the years, our sadness has grown and grown for what has been happening to Christ’s body (church). We have been to churches that if we had been taken in blindfolded, and then had the blindfolds removed, it would have looked to us more like a place of amusement; with only a few Christians attending, with most looking like the unsaved. So very sad, heartbreakingly sad.

Surprised, with what we saw and heard, we were not. Because the scriptures say, in the last days, right before Jesus’ return, there would be a great falling away; as a result, apostasy, in the church. Church we must pray that we do not let the spirit that is of the world overtake us. Therefore, if we see this spirit has overtaken the church we attend, we must not pretend we don’t see what the Holy Spirit is showing us. If we see it has entered into the church, our loyalties must not be to man, who cannot save us; our loyalties must be to the God of our salvation; the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Focus

If you have kept a hold of the mind of Christ, seek out those who are of like mind who also have kept a hold of the mind of Christ. Fellowship with them, bible study with them, and pray with them.

Once the Holy Spirit has shown us that God is not in it, regardless of what assembly it is, we must step away. Jesus is coming for us Church, time is short. But, you say we are to occupy, until His return…please don’t let the devil blind you to the truth. Part of occupying is looking for the soon return of our Savior. Part of occupying is to have oil in our lamps. Part of occupying is seeing that our children are ready. Our families and friends, saved and unsaved, are all part of our occupying.

Let’s work a little less on our life we live here on this earth and a little more on our life in eternity in heaven. Let’s store up rewards in eternity and a little less of storing things up here on this earth. For the spiritual things, we get to take with us. Since there are no storage units in heaven, everything else must stay here. We must not look on anything, with a desire in our heart to keep it; remember the story of Lot’s wife? If you are finding this a little hard, this letting go of temporal things, all is not lost. If we find ourselves with such thoughts, we only need to pray to the Father. He will show us the way, for He truly is our way maker.

Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
