It Took The Same Faith
It Took The Same Faith

Walking in faith. What a concept. Only God could have come up with such a thing. We see in Hebrews 6:11, in order to please God, we must walk in faith. Hebrews 11:1, tells us that faith is the substance of the things we hope for, the very evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 10:23, tells us to hold fast to our faith, without wavering; because He is faithful, that promised. In Hebrews 10:38, we the just shall live by faith. We the saved in Christ, are the just, praise God. Please read Hebrews 11:1-40, it is amazing what the Holy Spirit shows us about faith.
Did you ever really consider the magnitude of faith that Noah had to have to build an ark, having never seen rain? Abraham’s case is the complete opposite of Noah’s; in that he saw, up front, everything that God was asking him to leave. Do we have that same faith in God? To look at all he has given us and walk away from it?
Abraham was looking for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Are we looking for that same city? Do we have the kind of faith that Abraham and Noah had? To do what God asks us to do? To prepare us for the rapture? Like Noah, can we hold fast to our faith for something we have never seen? Can we, like Abraham, walk away and not look back? I will end this blog the same way I started it. “Walking in faith. What a concept. Only God could have come up with such a thing.”
A Prayer
Dear Father, I give you my life and all I possess; my heart, mind, and soul. I will follow you and never look back. I have nothing tying me to this world. With the power of the Holy Spirit, I will hold fast to my faith, in you. For you, Father are able, who has promised. Come, Lord Jesus, come…
Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
