This study will be a verse by verse study through the book of Psalms. The introduction lays out some of the foundational information necessary for better understanding of the book some consider a mirror of the soul. With this in mind, explore each study from the perspective that you are the individual involved in the Psalm. In other words, as you travel through the Psalms, see yourself as the “I” of the content. This will better enable you to grasp the significance of the content and apply it to your own walk with the Lord. In addition, this approach will engender intimacy with the creator as He truly is the Word made flesh.
John 1:14
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
